Knowledge and Understanding

Happy is the man who finds wisdom; and the man who gains understanding. Get wisdom; and get understanding. In reading and studying the Word; we get to know and understand the Father's GRACE. Our Lord desires for us to know Him and He wants to know us.

Thus says the Lord:
That I am the Lord, exercising loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

The just shall live by faith (Hello in 2019)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,
“The just shall live by faith.”

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Our Lord is the author and finisher of our faith.
Our Lord is the Word which our faith rests upon.
Our Lord is the Word and the foundation of our faith.
Our Father is glorified when put our faith on the Word.
Central to our faith is belonging to our Father without reserve.
Faith is choosing to believe and trust.

Arno talked about gathering to hear the Word being preached, this last Sunday.
A Sunday service takes such a small percentage (I believe he said 1.4%) of our week, and we have over 98% of time to choose what speaks into our lives.
What are we choosing to speak into our lives in all that time;
How much of that 98% of time in a week, are we allowing the Word speak into our lives.

I greet you all in 2019.
I pray our faith will grow as we seek to walk in Him.

PS: I truly have no excuse for staying away so long; I just ask for grace from all of you.
