Then the Lord said, “Hear what
the unjust judge said.
And shall God not avenge His
own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I
tell you that He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless, when the Son of
Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
God, I thank You that I am not
like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.
I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’
‘God, be merciful to me a
sinner!’
In this chapter we are taught
about the persistent widow;
the selfrighteous man and the repentant
sinner;
to guard against materialism
but the Lord can change the condition of any heart for nothing is impossible with our Father;
Nevertheless, when the Son of
Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
Persistent and surrendered faith
the Lord is looking faith.
