Called to unity (1 Corinthians 6)

 

Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?

And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?

Paul continues to urge the Corinthian church to dedicate; set themselves apart; and act differently in the world they lived in. He reprimands them about infighting taken to outsiders.

 In this family of God we will have differences and challenges but we are called to act protectively and to work towards unity.
