He
who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of
the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.
God
is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
The
nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
The
Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength
of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
One
thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the
house of the Lord All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
A medley of psalms (91, 46 ,27 and 121)
We are
not alone our Father is watching us and He is moved and concerned by our need.
Let us not let fear change our reality.
In our
country we are on day 5 of lockdown to try and control the spread of the corona
virus COVID-19.
I thought
I would remind us all of who our Father is and that He cares for us; fights for
us and protects us.
Also at
this time we all have an opportunity to dwell with our Father for whether we
are locked-down or not; the pandemic is spreading globally and ours is to pray
for a vaccine and for the spread to slow down in the meantime.
If you don’t
know what to say in prayer use the psalms to encourage yourself and to call on
your Father on behalf of all human kind.
