Hebrews 5 : 1 - 14
Paul continues to describe our Lord as our High-Priest appointed by the Father.
Our Lord learnt obedience in suffering, we also i believe learn obedience through choosing the Father and His ways in our lives.
Following our Lord means dying to self just as He did in obedience to the Father.
Remember when He cried but said not my will but your will Father, that is our example and champion.
Dying to self is one of the most difficult aspects of our journey. This is a daily occurrence for sin is always self serving.
When we disobey or choose not to believe what we have heard the Father calls us immature.
We do not want to be immature Christ-Followers who never grow up. We are all encouraged to seek or pursue maturity in our faith.
The goal of this blog is to get us reading and learning more of who our Lord is, in His Word, for ourselves. We also learn who we are in Him and what it means to follow Him. Many are misled because they don’t know the Truth for themselves. Please make and take time to read every chapter as we touch on it. Disagree or challenge any of the thoughts at any time we need to sharpen each other. This is not a daily devotional and should never replace reading the Bible.
Knowledge and Understanding
Happy is the man who finds wisdom; and the man who gains understanding. Get wisdom; and get understanding. In reading and studying the Word; we get to know and understand the Father's GRACE. Our Lord desires for us to know Him and He wants to know us.
Thus says the Lord:
That I am the Lord, exercising loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.
That I am the Lord, exercising loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.
