Before I formed you in the womb I knew
you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to
the nations.”
Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a
youth.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all
to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do
not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.” Then
the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, “Behold,
I have put my words in your mouth. See, I have set you this day over nations
and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to
build and to plant.”
Our
Father purposed each and every single one of us were before we were. Our lives
are not by chance, our Father created us with a purpose unique to the time we are
born. Our Lord commissions us all when we
choose to be His followers. One of the greatest joys of our faith is finding
out how the Lord has purposed you. Take time to find out.
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

1 ; Romans 12
