Romans 5vs6-8
For
while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For
one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person
one would dare even to die— but God
shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6vs23
For
the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
We all have sinned against God
and deserve His punishment BUT He sent Jesus and through His death and
resurrection we have the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Each and every
single one of us needs to acknowledge our sinfulness and come before the Father
and ask for forgiveness. I have typed a prayer that I encourage you to pray.
Father
I know that I have sinned against You and deserve punishment BUT Jesus Christ
took the punishment that I deserve, so that through in Him I could be forgiven.
With your help I place my trust in You for salvation.
