Promised Help

My friend and I were talking and realised that as much as we love and serve our Father we seem to have lost that fire and hunger that consumed us. This happened about almost a month ago. 
I have been troubled so began to seek what could have caused this.

I realised that if we are to do the will of the Father then His Spirit is essential. If we are not to burn out and go through motions, everyday has to be with Him for in our strength being a Christ follower is tiring and gloomy. In repentance I sought to know His Spirit afresh and to commit self to relying and trusting His Spirit for all. 
Today I would like to share with you what the Word tells us about Him. Again in this blog I can never share all so I challenge you my friends to go and find out more. The Bible is the only true revealer of our Father, make time, and learn for yourself. Secondhand information or revelation will never make any of us strong true Christ followers in this journey.

Holy Spirit Revealed

He ushers us into our Father's presence, helps us navigate our way in His presence, and keeps us aware of our Father’s presence.

He is the one who helps us represent the Father. Our submission to the Father without Him will always be false.

He is our promised Help. Our Lord knew just as He needed Him to fulfill being completely human and God we would need Him to live to the glory of God. Is it not fitting that He has chosen our bodies to be His temple.

Our Father sent Him as our helper. A helper to teach us all things related to our Dad, a Helper to remind us continually of our Dad and His Kingdom.

A Helper who helps us to witness of our Dad, His love, and Glory, to all those in our sphere of influence ( be it friend, family, colleagues, or stranger ).

In essence a faith journey without the Holy Spirit is naught. He is our wisdom, He is our hope, He is our seal of redemption, He is the force of our renewal. He teaches us to pray.              

Only through Him can we understand what it means that our Lord saved us. He is our guarantee of the Father’s promised inheritance.

He was there in the beginning so will He be there in the end. Saints we cannot exist for our Father's glory and Kingdom without the Holy Spirit and His help. My prayer is for all of us who find ourselves not as hungry nor as consumed, to go back to the one promised, His Spirit. With His help can do all these things, and even more our Lord said. He is the given help and the one who is always walking along besides us. Let us never forget Him or neglect to ask for His HELP.
